Four channels, five videos. The driver across all five is the same: a business the viewer has never once considered, attached to a number that makes them wish they had. Kenny Finance's parking lots is the purest version of it and the highest multiple here. Smaller count than the main list video so every entry can be genuinely unfamiliar.
# Concept
Dan goes a layer past the popular list and names 5-7 businesses most people have never heard of. Sneaky good, cash-flowing businesses that stay hidden because nobody advertises them and no one thinks to own them. For each, he shares:
Same underwriting lens as Boring Businesses I'd Buy Right Now, less familiar territory.

Five channels, six videos, and every one of them is the same structure: name the elite room you were in, then hand over a counted list of what you learned there.
Kenny Finance and Codie Sanchez are the two exact-title matches, eight months apart, on channels 40x apart in size. That is the pattern, and it is live.
Both Filterbuy videos open on the credential before anything else. The first one's cold open is "I spent years as a VP at Goldman Sachs at my peak making $2 million per year," then it counts off four concepts. The second opens "Before Filterbuy, I spent years on Wall Street." Same lever as Dan's, aimed at a list.
Humphrey Yang is the count itself at a million views, proving the numbered version of an insider-money list travels far past the finance audience. Nischa carries the weakest multiple here but puts the credential in the title and still cleared 348K, so it stays as support.
Dan's version of this lever is stronger than any of theirs: JPMorgan and Deloitte plus 18 years in Special Forces, and unlike Kenny he is not describing a job he left, he is describing the exact filter he still runs deals through.
Note for the recording: none of the items need a named client or a specific JPMorgan or Deloitte transaction. The lesson is the asset, not the deal it came from, and every proof point can come from a business Dan has bought or passed on himself.
A/B note: the titles pair off on the institution, JPMorgan against Wall Street, same video either way. JPMorgan is the specific verifiable name, Wall Street is the broader familiar one. Run both.
# Concept
Dan lists the 10-15 things his years at JPMorgan taught him about sizing up a business.
For each one he:
He closes on the single rule from that era he still refuses to break.

Four channels, five videos, and this is now the best-validated card of the eight. Codie Sanchez, Karlton Dennis and Arlan Hamilton published essentially the same title inside a four-month window and all three overperformed their own channels. When three unrelated operators independently land on the same sentence, the topic is live and the wording is doing the work. The staging title ran long, so all three options here are cut down while keeping "government" as the first strong word.
# Concept
Dan names the seven businesses the government pays for. Some it buys from you, some it reimburses, some it helps your customer afford, and the last one it helps a bank finance for you.
For each one he covers:
e.g. Medical transport: the passenger never pays you directly. The ride is authorized under Medicaid, and the state, its managed care plan or its transportation broker reimburses the provider. That creates repeat demand, but only if the licensing, documentation, authorization and billing are right.
He ends on SBA backed financing, the one that works with almost any ordinary business. Not framed as "most people qualify," because that is an underwriting claim nobody has verified.

The government will pay you to run seven “boring” businesses, and all seven already exist in your city.
The people you serve never pay you. The government does, and it budgeted that money before you ever opened.
I've bought businesses with my own money, and one of them almost cost me $526,000. Since then I've walked hundreds of people through buying one of their own, and the ones the government pays for keep the same customer coming back week after week.
So today I'm going through all seven, where the money comes from, and what it takes to get approved.
But a van and a driver is the cheapest way into any of this. The next one has the biggest revenue number in the entire video, and it's the number most likely to talk you into buying something you shouldn't.
Now that one sits at the most regulated end of this whole list, so let's go straight to the other end. The next business needs no medical anything, you already understand the work it does, and the only thing standing between you and it is one piece of paper.
And that same money moves inside people's houses, not just public buildings. The next business needs no license at all to get started, and the owners who do get in still run out of one thing that has nothing to do with the government.
But every business so far has been about caring for adults. The next one is about kids, and instead of signing up customers one family at a time, a single signature puts you in front of hundreds of them at once.
Now if you want the business on this list with the highest ceiling, it's the next one. But the approval to get paid takes months before you earn a dollar, and there's a warning attached to whoever tries to sell it to you.
So every business I've shown you needs the government to become your customer in some way. The last one doesn't, and it's the reason I almost lost half a million dollars.

Five channels, six videos, and 20 million views sitting in the top two.
The driver is not the business advice. It is a specific person with a specific problem, a stranger walking in to fix it, and the viewer watching the change land on their face. Steven Schapiro's version is the restaurant with no customers, Davie Fogarty's is thirty days to save a failing one, and the Rudan brothers do it to a house. Same engine every time.
Kenny Finance is the version closest to Dan's mechanics: the transaction happening live rather than being recapped, run twice two months apart and clearing 29x on the weaker of the two. UpFlip supplies the number reveal at the end.
What Dan adds that none of them have: real diligence. Schapiro brings customers, Fogarty brings operating fixes, Dan brings the read on whether the thing is worth owning at all. Same emotional engine, a verdict instead of a makeover.

How the day runs:

Eight channels, eight videos, four niches: business, AI software, music, coding.
The cross-niche four are the argument for making this video at all. Every one of them runs long on purpose and gets rewarded for it. The guitar course is over nine hours and did 323K. The bash course is seven and a half hours and did 393K. Length is the product here, not the risk, which is the opposite of how most people think about a ninety minute upload.
The Claude course is the closest cousin to what Dan would make: one named thing, taught from beginner to competent in a single sitting, 850K views at 92.9x. It is also the format Viewz has already seen work across other clients.
Caveat on the numbers: GuitarZoom and You Suck at Programming both have very low channel medians, so their raw multiples read as absurd and are not worth quoting. Their raw view counts are the honest proof, which is why the multiple is left off those two.
# Concept
Dan takes the viewer from zero to owning their first boring business. Every module is one he could be paid for, given away in order.
The modules:
For each module he:
Ends on the first thing to go do this week if you are starting from zero.

Five channels, six videos, and all six are one sentence: take a business people already understand, then reveal which version of it actually prints.
Gym Launch leads because it is the closest match to Dan's example, right down to comparing floor plans inside one category. Chris Koerner is the ceiling, nearly 2M at 32x, and he ran the format twice. Mike Bausch does it inside restaurants, Dan Martell inside AI, Franchise Inspectors on franchise owner income at 93x. The category changes, the promise does not.
Franchise Inspectors is a named competitor in Dan's style guide, which is the point: they are already proving this audience wants the number, and nobody is answering it with real FDD math.
Note on dates: two of these are from 2025 and they are here on purpose. The format is not seasonal, it has been repeating for over a year, and the older entries are the ones that prove the pattern rather than a moment.
Caveat: Mike Bausch's channel median is too low for his multiple to mean anything, so his entry counts on raw views only.
# Concept
Dan picks 8 industries everyone already knows and names the version inside each one that actually makes money. Same move every time: the business people open, against the business they should have opened.

For each pair he gives:
He ends on the pair with the widest gap.

Two businesses can sell the exact same thing to the exact same customer, and one of them makes three times the money.
I've helped hundreds of people pick the right business to buy, and the money is almost never in the version everyone opens.
So today I'm taking 8 businesses people open every day, showing you the other way to run each one, and which one I would put my own money into.
But a restaurant makes money the day it unlocks the door. The next one can take a down payment before anybody has paid you a dollar.
So owning nothing sounds safe until you see the other side of it. The next business puts half a million dollars into one room and then needs strangers to keep showing up for it.
And the same customer can be worth ten times more somewhere else. The next business sells to the exact person getting a twenty dollar haircut, except it charges a thousand dollars a visit.
But a bigger ticket buys you bigger problems. The next business is the one everybody calls recession proof, and almost nobody looks at what it takes to get in.
Now, there is a business people buy specifically because it looks like it runs itself. It barely has employees, and that turns out to be the problem.
And everything changes the moment you stop waiting on customers and go get them. Both versions of the next business pull into the same driveway, and only one of them still gets paid in December.
But all seven of those went the same direction, and the last one is where I go against everybody. The business people call automatic is the one I would stay away from.

Four channels, five videos. Codie Sanchez and Filterbuy published near-identical titles three months apart and both cleared 500K, which is the clearest signal in the batch that this exact framing is live right now. There are 10 boring businesses I'd put my own money into right now.
I own businesses in some of the most boring industries, and have helped many more.
Every startup cost and revenue number I give you comes out of a real business owner. In one of these companies, one owner did $5.4 million and another did $78,000.
They get better the whole way up, so number 10 is the one I'd actually commit to.
But number 2 makes most of its real money while the rest of the city is asleep.
With number 3, one truck and one guy is the entire startup.
And number 4 is work most people write off as unskilled, where one job can pay more than most people make in a year.
But number 5 is the one the big money has been secretly buying up.
So number 6 is the one I personally had to pay for twice in my first three months of owning a home.
And I only learned number 7 because the owners themselves kept coming to me with the same confession.
But number 8 is the reason some families spend years getting sick in their own home without knowing why.
And number 9 is the one my own family is proving out right now.
So that leaves number 10, the one I'd put my own money into, and it's the only business here that four different forces are all paying for at the same time.
