The asset that makes this one different: nobody was home. The crew asked the neighbors about her before they ever met her. No other video on the channel has that, and no competitor runs it. It means the paint beat comes out of a third party's mouth instead of the subject's, which is more credible than her telling us herself. The hook is built on it.
Format read (from the Style Guidelines):
Escalation ladder for the whole video: yard, then roof, then the tree nobody could see from the ground, then HVAC. Four rungs across three days. A stronger stack than Amanda or Carlissa had.
Cold open call: the day one reaction is to a free yard, the smallest gift in the video. The open runs off day three, the AC.
The heat is the clock. A whole summer with no air conditioning is the only hard, dated stake in the story, and it is the one fact that makes the day three reaction legible the second the video opens. Naming the problem in the hook does not spend the payoff, the same way Amanda's hook names the county taking the house without saying we save it. The heat carries the second rung of the paint; the neighbors carry the first.
Door-knocking with landscaping as the cover story
House with nobody home, yard is bad, roof is worse
Ask the neighbors about her, they vouch for her
Come back next day, she's home, walks us around the yard
Tell her we'll do the landscaping free, she's thrilled, has no idea about the roof
Day 1: start landscaping, get on the roof, huge tree grown over it that has to be cut back
Also find out the AC is out and hasn't been working
End day 1 by telling her we're coming back to do the whole roof, free
Day 2: roof plus more landscaping, deliberately don't finish
Day 3: finish the roof, finish the yard, surprise her with a new HVAC
We knocked on Sharon's door to ask if we could do her landscaping, and nobody answered. The yard was overgrown and the roof above it was in bad shape, so before we left we went and asked her neighbors about her.
We came back the next day and she was home. She walked us around her yard, we told her we'd do the whole thing for nothing, and she had no idea that was only the beginning.
When we got up on the roof we found a tree that had grown over the whole thing, so far in that we couldn't touch the landscaping until it came down. Then we found out her air conditioning hadn't been working, and she had gone the entire summer without it. Over three days we cut the tree back, replaced her entire roof, finished the yard, and gave her one more thing she never saw coming.

VO: "This is Sharon. She wasn't even home when we found her."
[Hard cut. Empty driveway. The overgrown yard. Tilt up to the roof.]
VO: "We were knocking doors, asking people if we could do their yard for free."
[Cole walking over to the neighbor's porch.]
VO: "So we asked her neighbors about her."
[Neighbor soundbite. Let them talk, don't VO over it.]
[Next morning. She opens the door. Walking them around the yard, pointing things out.]
VO: "The next day she was home. We told her we'd do her yard for free."
[Her reaction. Hand to her chest, laughing, thrilled.]
VO: "But we were never there for the yard."
[Ladder going up. The tree swallowing the roofline. Hold.]
VO: "Because up on that roof, we found what she couldn't see from the ground."
[Half-obscured: crew on the roof at speed, the old AC unit in frame for one beat, dust.]
VO: "That was only day one. She never saw the last thing coming."
